There's a Snake In the House!

or in the car, plane, train, boat, etc...

These are movies that have wild snakes in houses or other builings or places where they are not usually expected to be found, including cars, trucks, RVs and trailers, boats, trains, planes - and any place indoors where snakes have been put to attack people. It does not include: outdoor yards and gardens; snakes kept in permanent cages or snake pits, captive snakes used indoors by snake dancers, snake charmers, or for snake fights; or snakes in any other indoor place where they are intentionally kept - unless a snake gets loose indoors and becomes a threat.

Pather Panchali (1955)

After a family leaves their ancestral country home to move to the city in order to survive we see a snake crawl in the front door.

Paul Temple Returns (Bombay Waterfront) (1952) IMDB

This British mystery is the last in a series of four films about the amateur detective Paul Temple. Here he searches for a serial killer who is terrorizing London using the name "The Marquis."

A snake (a large python) is left in a room to guard it from intruders. It's really just a plot device to enable the hero to shoot at the floor. He misses the snake, but breaks the floor tile the snake was crawling on, exposing a secret hiding place that the snake is protecting.

Using a snake as a guard is a nice exotic addition to a movie but in reality it's a bad idea because snakes will try to hide at any opportunity, unlike a guard dog.
