These are movies with snakes in them that are used for comic effect, taken from the main Snakes in Movies List.
A lot of movies with snakes involve unintentional comedy, such as in some of the giant monster snake movies,
but in these movies the laughs were planned.

A musican plays an instrument made out of a live snake. He blows into the tail and fingers holes on its body as the sound comes out of the snake's mouth. |

Bullet Train (2022)
A venomous Boomslang escapes onto a bullet train where it bites someone on the hand but fortunately he had already been injected with the antivenin so he survives without issue. His reactions to the snakebite, running with it wrapped around his hand then wrapping it up and putting it in a toilet are meant to be funny, especially since he is the person who accidentally let the snake escape from its cage.

The Campaign (2012)
In this raunchy comedy that is also a scathing criticism of U.S. politics and elections, comedian Will Farrell is a politician who, in order to win the support of a snake-handling church, handles some of their snakes during one of their services. But one of the snakes bites him on the arm and he acts as if he has been drugged. Later we see his enormous swollen arm and even though that's not at all funny in real life - it's really funny here. |

Central Intelligence (2016)
Kevin Hart tells an airport security guard that there is a transplant penis in a portable lunch cooler that he needs a plane immediately. The guard opens the cooler and Hart is terrifed by a pet boa constrictor he finds in a portable lunch cooler. The guard pretends to be scared too, then laughs and tells him the snake is his buddy "Snake Gyllenhall" who guards his lunch. |

Cheaper By the Dozen (2003)
A harmless snake brought to a boy's birthday party as a present, escapes, causing widespread panic, which is hilarious. |

City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold (1994)
A man goes behind a rock and drops his pants to go to the bathroom then bends over and sits on a cactus. Then he hears a rattlesnake rattling, turns around and sees the snake. He yells and tries to run away with his pants around his ankles, screaming that a snake bit him. He demands that his friends suck out the poison from his rear end, but they hesitate, for obvious reasons. Finally one of them takes a look and pulls out the cactus spine. |

Club Paradise (1986)
Dressed in plants because her clothes were stolen, a tourist in the forest on a Carribean island is comically attacked by a Python while her husband is talking, oblivious to her dilemma. |

Crocodile Dundee (1986)
Dundee finds a snake at their campsite and kills it while carrying on a conversation, as if it's something he does every day. His companion is disgusted and terrified. Some of us are laughing. |

Crocodile Dundee II (1988)
In New York City Dundee sees a snake charmer's cobra and immediately kills it, because that's how you deal with a snake in the outback. I laughed, but I'm not sure if the scene is supposed to be funny or show Dundee's bravery. |

At a pagan ceremony in the mountains police detectives dressed like gang members jump into a pool of water to save a woman dressed as a bride from being sacrificed to a giant Anaconda. They throw a handful of pills down the snake's mouth until it passes out.

A woman sends her country brothers and cousins with her new city husband into the desert to shoot something. He stumbles in to a group of rattlesnkes, then freaks out as the other guys shoot at the snakes that surround him. It sounds frightening but Matthew Perry plays it as comedy. |

A man has a pet Boa Constrictor that crawls around his apartment and tries to eat his food and cigarettes. |

The Frisco Kid (1979)
Many funny misfortunes befall a Rabbi played by comedian Gene Wilder after he is sent to San Francisco, including falling off a cliff after the horse he is riding is frightened by a rattlesnake. When his partner sees that the Rabbi survived by landing in a river, he has his horse jump into the river, too. |

Their son Mutt looks for something to pull them out with but all he can find is a large snake to use as a rope and Indy is terrified of having grab it. |

Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom (1984)
In a funny scene, nighclub singer Willie Scott is camping against her will in the jungle at night when a snake onto her shoulder. She thinks it is an elephant's trunk and throws it towards Indy who freaks out because he's famously afraid of snakes. |

The special in a Chicago Vietnamese restaurant is a giant cooked snake on a bed of fruits and vegetables with an orange in its mouth, but one of the diners refuses to eat it because it should be on the Discovery Channel. |

Comedian Harold Lloyd picks up a stick off the ground that he plans on using to fight off a man who is trying to attack a young woman. Lloyd doesn't know that there is a snake hanging from the stick until after the man runs away in fear. When he finds out he and the woman are also terrified of it. |

Kung Fu Hustle (2004)
In this martial arts action-comedy an incompetent assassin accidently dumps a cage full of snakes onto his partner. He tell his partner that if he whistles, the snakes won't bite, so he whistles, then he's imediately bitten on the mouth by two cobras. |

In this action-adventure comedy, we see a man and a woman tied up on the floor of a large temple, surrounded by snakes. The two victims discuss how absurd and unrealistic it is to have a temple full of snakes that just hang around and then the snakes disappear and we learn that we have been watching a scene from a novel that the woman is writing that she has realized was not working.

He tells her not to worry because the snake is only the resident house python, Old Joe, a "migratory mousetrap" that also conveniently scares frightened girls into Victor's arms. Later she finds Old Joe on her bed. |

Murder by Death (1976)
In this parody of locked-in murder mysteries, Charlie Chan and his son are in bed trying to sleep when they hear a loud hissing sound. The son thinks it's the radiator and asks his father if he should turn off the steam but Charlie tells him that someone put a deadly snake in the room and that he should wake him up when it comes near the bed. |

The Package (2018)
In this raunchy teen cringe comedy, on a camping trip a man accidentally cuts off his penis. He is helicoptered to a hospital to transplant it, but the man's friends accidentally gave the medics a cooler full of beer and not the severed organ. His friends hike out with right cooler that contains the organ in a plastic bag. But the cooler is accidentally dropped in front of a rattlesnake and the bag falls out in front of the snake which bites the penis. This provides the movie with lots of jokes about sucking out poison and about penis transplants. |

Pee Wee's Big Adventure (1985)
Pee Wee loves animals but is afraid of snakes. When he finds a pet shop on fire he runs in to save all the animals. He sees a terrarium full of garter snakes and gives it a disgusted look each time he passes it to grab another animal. Finally, screaming, he runs out of the store with his hands full of snakes then faints, falling to the ground, letting all the snakes crawl away.

One night when he and Bing Crosby are camped in the jungle and sleeping inside their tent, Bob Hope sees something moving in his bed and pulls it out, only to discover that it's a huge snake. His slow realization of the danger is played for laughs until he throws the snake away. |

Road Trip (2000)
A college student tries to feed a mouse to a Burmese Python, but the snake refuses to eat. He forgets that he's still holding the mouse and leans over the snake which swallows the mouse and his hand, causing him to freak out and swing the snake around the room, eventually dislodging the snake and throwing it teeth first into the throat of another student. |

In this parody biopic about musician Dewy Cox, when he is a young boy, Cox listens to his brother Nate talk about how they're going to have long and fulfilling lives because the great thing about being young is that there's so much time to do great things. Then they proceed to tempt fate as young boys do by teasing a bull, riding a horse, driving a tractor, using a welding torch, fighting with machetes, and throwing a rattlesnake. Of course, Nate dies soon, but not from the rattlesnake. |
