This is a sword and sorcery adventure made quickly to cash in on the success of "Conan the Barbarian." ("The Blade Master" is a sequel to this, with lots more snakes.) It's so bad that there is a hilarious Mystery Science Theater 3000
parody of the movie. But it has some snakes in it, so it's not a complete bomb.
Dakkar, the evil leader of a spider cult lets large spiders crawl all over him while feeding people alive to a gigantic spider. On their wedding day, Dakkar's men capture the fiancé of muscleman Ator (Miles O'Keeffe) and bring her to Dakkar. Ator sets out to rescue her. Along the way he meets the man who rescued him as a baby. He tells Ator that he was born to conquer the spider cult and teaches him how to fight.
Ator is then captured by a tribe of Amazon women who organize a contest where several women fight each other for the honor of being the mother to their future queen. The winner will be impregnated by Ator then kill him. The winner is Roon, a beautiful blonde warrior who Ator saved previously who helps him to escape.
On the way to the Dakkar's spider headquarters, Ator is abducted by a witch named Indun (Laura Gemser - who knows how to act with snakes as we have seen in Eva Nera). Indun tells Ator that he will be happy and immortal living in her cave forever and gives him a love potion to drink that makes him forget his fiancé. She puts him on her bed then wraps a couple of snakes around her body. She has a Boa Constrictor around her shoulder that she caresses and kisses on the mouth, and she holds a rat snake that has its tail inside her cleavage, caressing and stroking it erotically.
But before the snakes can go into their holes, Roon shoots an arrow at Indun's magic mirror which reveals Indun's real appearance - an old and hideous woman. That makes the love potion wear off quickly and Ator and Roon scram out of there to rescue his fiancé who he finds trapped in the giant web of that gigantic spider mentioned earlier.
The large snake on Indun's shoulder is a south or central American boa constrictor. The other snake is an Asian rat snake with several names: Ridley's beauty snake; cave dwelling rat snake; and cave racer. (The last two names are appropriate since Indun lives in a cave.) It looks like two snakes, because the front and rear parts of its body don't match. The tail is dark with white stripes but the front part of the snake is tan with a black and white head.
