Roger Corman directed this collection of 3 short movies based on Edgar Allan Poe stories, all starring Vincent Price.

In the second story "The Black Cat" a nasty cat-hating drunk, played by Peter Lorre, has several drunken hallucinations. He sees two people he just killed and he also sees a number of herps including some snakes - a Western Diamond-backed Rattlesnake in his bed and a Boa Constrictor on top of some furniture.

Both snakes used are live animals.
