Walkabout (1971)

Spoiler Alert !

Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.

Walkabout

This is an Australian movie about two city kids who get stranded in the Australian Outback. They learn how to survive with the help of an Aboriginal boy who is on his "walkabout" where he is separated from his tribe and learning how to be a man.

We see lots of native Australian animals during the children's journey, including two pythons sleeping on a tree above them as they sleep at a desert oasis.

The snakes appear to be live Australian pythons.
