Snakes in Movies   The Whole Truth (2016)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   This is a crime drama with Keanu Reeves. At the very beginning, we see a lawyer sitting in a court room. A voice tells us that he is f***ed, because his client was obviously guilty. Then we see a man on a motorcycle driving past a snake that starts to cross the road. (We hear unrealistic and unnecessary hissing and rattling sounds because movie sound people need to justify their salaries.) Soon after that we see Keanu Reeves on a motorcycle stuck at an open draw bridge. The we see him drive up to the courthouse. We now know that he was the man driving past the snake. But we don't know the real order of the scenes until the very end when we see that the scene with him sitting in the courtroom is after the trial, and after we learned that he is not the good man we thought he was. The snake crossing the road scene is a bit of very subtle foreshadowing of evil in the path of the lawyer.
