Snakes in Movies   The Beach Bum (2019)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   This movie follows Moondog (Matthew McConaughey), a writer who plays classical piano and writes poems about his penis. His rich wife lives in a waterfront mansion in Miami but he lives on a boat in Key West. He calls himself a bottom feeder who lives with all the burnouts in the Keys because he has to go low to get high. And he gets high a lot, continually drinking beer, smoking enormous blunts with Snoop Dogg, and engaging in public sex as much as he can. His agent scolds him saying that he has "pissed away his talent on women and booze and total excess." Even Jimmy Buffett thinks he's too much of a wildman. At the beginning and end of the movie, we see Moondog on a fishing boat named "Well Hung" lounging on a mattress on top of the boat full of naked women and playing a small hand drum with an albino python on the drum or draped around his neck. What can I say? Moondog is my new hero and role model.
