Snakes in Movies   Stripped to Kill (1987)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   "A Maniac is Killing Strippers. Detective Sheehan Has One Weapon to Stop Him. Her Body." This is a low-budget exploitation crime drama about a police detective working on a murder case who goes undercover as a stripper at the Rock Bottom dance club in Los Angeles, which is full of topless dancers with '80s big hair. One of the exotic dancers working in the club uses a Burmese python in her act, which we see in a long scene that is bathed in red stage light. She dances around with the python then drapes it over a tree. Then she pops her top, dances with fire, and finally pretends to stab herself to death in the heart with a large knife. Very classy. The tree is a prop she uses for holding the snake, which I was surprised to see on stage next to the stripper pole, but maybe that's only because I haven't been to enough strip clubs with exotic snake dancers. We also see her sitting backstage holding a python.
