Snakes in Movies   The Jungle Book (1967)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   There are several scenes with Kaa the snake in this great animated musical version of Kipling's classic tales. In this scene shown here, Kaa hypnotizes 'Mowgli' the Man Cub, coils around him, and is about to eat him when 'Bagheera' the Panther stops him. Mowgli throws his coiled tail off the tree making Kaa crash to the ground. He crawls away with a knot in his tail. Watch it here.
