In this episode of the Game of Thrones television series we see Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) pull a rowboat to shore. The next morning we see Jamie wake up fearing for his life when he sees Bronn holding a knife over his head about to throw it at him. But instead of killing Jamie, Bronn throws it at a snake on the ground next to Jamie. Bronn then picks up the knife with the dead snake stuck to it and says "Breakfast." Then we see Bronn roasting what appears to be two snakes on a small campfire on the beach. Bronn eats his breakfast snake, but Jamie has no appetite for snake on a stick, and sets it aside.
The two men are in the land of "The Sand Snakes," eight bastard daughters of Prince Oberyn Martell who is nicknamed "the Red Viper." He trained them in combat to be ruthless warriors. They are led by Martell's mistress, Ellaria Sand, who likes to coat her lips with poison and kiss her victims to kill them. We don't see the sandsnakes with any actual snakes, which is a shame because they should be using venomous snakes as weapons, but they do have some pretty cool snake jewelry and snake art on their weapons.
