When it was released in 2009, this comedy about college students in New Delhi was the highest-grossing Indian film ever made. It might still be.
On the day when they get their grades, we see several students at an Indian Engineering College trying to make a deal with god to give them good grades, in a fun parody of the mixture of science and superstition in Indian culture. One student offers a coconut to the gods at his alter asking for a good grade in Electronics, another offers grass to a sacred cow, another burns money at the idol of the god of wealth, and the guy seen above offers milk to a cobra in return for a good grade in Physics. The cobra on screen looks and moves its head very much like a real cobra, but it is probably CGI, I can't tell. Later in the movie, we see a book written by one of the 3 idiots who became a wildlife photographer, with the grammatically incorrect title: "Snakes Speaks."
