Snakes in Movies   3 Idiots (2009)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   When it was released in 2009, this comedy about college students in New Delhi was the highest-grossing Indian film ever made. It might still be. On the day when they get their grades, we see several students at an Indian Engineering College trying to make a deal with god to give them good grades, in a fun parody of the mixture of science and superstition in Indian culture. One student offers a coconut to the gods at his alter asking for a good grade in Electronics, another offers grass to a sacred cow, another burns money at the idol of the god of wealth, and the guy seen above offers milk to a cobra in return for a good grade in Physics. The cobra on screen looks and moves its head very much like a real cobra, but it is probably CGI, I can't tell.  Later in the movie, we see a book written by one of the 3 idiots who became a wildlife photographer, with the grammatically incorrect title: "Snakes Speaks."
