This adult male Eastern Fence Lizard was found in North Carolina as a hatchling with no pattern and a yellowish gray coloring that became the vibrant golden color you seen in the photos shown above. This lizard has been observed for two years which indicates that its coloring is natural and not added on by spores, pollen or other contaminants.
