Lizards in Movies   The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   This South African comedy is a sequel to The Gods Must Be Crazy which has a couple of scenes with snakes. A lizard appears in the movie after a woman, a New York corporate lawyer and a man, a Zoologist, are flying in an ultralight aircraft that runs into a storm and crash lands in a tall tree. They rapel down to the ground where she is frightened by African wildlife including a rhinoceros, giraffes, lions, a hyena, and a large monitor lizard. The lizard scares her so much that she jumps onto the man's shoulders. We see the lizard walking away then she gets down. I think the monitor is a Nile Monitor, and African native.
