This one isn't an actual hall of mirrors, it's a gallery of mirrors lined up to provide multiple reflections.
Dr. Vollin is a mad genius whose hobby is building the torture devices described in Edgar Allan Poe's writings. Edmond, an escaped convict, points a gun at Dr. Vollin and tells him to perform face-change surgery that will make Edmond look less ugly. Dr. Vollin agrees but only if Edmond will torture and kill someone for him. Edmond refuses, saying that because he's ugly he does ugly things and he doesn't want to be ugly anymore. The doctor uses that idea and performs the surgery leaving Edmond so hideously ugly that he will do any terrible thing the doctor asks in return for the doctor's promise to make him look better after he does his bidding.

When Edmond wakes up from surgery he realizes there is a problem and is anxious to see what he looks like, so the doctor leaves the room then uses a remote control to open several mirrors behind the operating room one by one. Edmond is enraged when he sees all of the reflections of himself so he shoots the mirrors with a pistol. Dr. Vollin watches from a window laughing hysterically knowing that his plan to make Edmond subservient will work.

The scene starts at about 26:17 mins.
