Lizards in Movies   Tales of Terror (1962)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   Roger Corman directed this collection of 3 short movies based on Edgar Allan Poe stories, all starring Vincent Price. In the second story "The Black Cat" a nasty cat-hating drunk, played by Peter Lorre, has several drunken hallucinations. He sees two people he just killed and he also sees a number of herps including a few lizards - a green iguana on the wall, and on his cellar stairs, a gila monster, and a collared lizard. The gila monster and the iguana appear to be alive, but the collared lizard is a fake.
