Lizards in Movies   The Scent of Green Papaya (1993)   This beautiful Vietnamese film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. It's about a servant girl in Saigon. In the lizard scene, we see a bratty little boy tease a young serving girl with a lizard that is tied to a string on the end of a pole. We also see more of the same kind of lizards on a bush outside the window and inside the house in and around some large vases. They appear to be some type of Agamid lizard.
