This is that old caveman movie in which Raquel Welch wears a fur bikini and gets carried away by a flying dinosaur. She's the only thing memorable about the movie. The poster was made famous again in the movie The Shawshank Redemption in 1994 but even that's a long way back now.

At the beginning, we see a tribe of cavemen and cave women in their cave who are so uncivilized they fight each other for food. One of them, Tumak, fights with the Alpha male, who defeats him, throwing him off a ledge and out of the cave. He is forced to leave the tribe and go off on his own.

Tumak sees giant footprints then encounters a gigantic lizard that makes loud hissing and popping sounds and acts like it wants to eat him. He tries to get away, but the lizard chases him then wraps its forked tongue around his leg. He smashes the lizard's tongue with a rock and the lizard finally lets him go. (This is the prehensile-tongue attack also happened with one of the giant lizards in Journey to the Center of the Earth, made a few years earlier. Lizards don't wrap their tongues around things to catch them, not even Chameleons, but it seems to be the only way filmmakers could think of to make a giant lizard catch someone so they can then free themselves. A real lizard would just grab someone with its teeth and slash and crush him to death with its powerful jaws.)

At the end of the movie a volcano erupts, rocks fall and the earth opens up, and we see another giant lizard falling into the collapsing ground.

The lizards are just normal Green Iguanas that look giant because of trick photography.

After the lizard scene, Tumak collapses and is discovered by Raquel Welch. That begins a scene where her tribe fights a gigantic sea turtle. There's also a brief snake scene.
