Lizards in Movies   CrissCross (1992)   Spoiler Alert ! Some of these pictures and descriptions may give away plot details that you might not want to know before watching the film.   This is a crime/drama starring Goldie Hawn. It is set in Key West Florida in 1969. Her 12-year-old son named Chris Cross is troubled after his father, a bomber pilot in the Viet Nam war who accidentally bombed a hospital full of children, quit the military and abandoned his family to work in a monastary. In one scene, Chris and his friend are goofing around as boys do. Chris's friend rubs the belly of a Brown Anole to relax it then makes it bite his tongue and hang from it. He then makes another anole bite Chris's nose and hang from it. Then he hangs the anole from his tongue again and brings half of the lizard into his mouth. I made a mental note to try this the next time I catch an Anole. Fortunately, that hasn't happened yet.
