True Blood
True Blood isn't a movie, it's an HBO TV series, but I had to include it after seeing a brief shot of a salamander underwater every time I watched the opening credits. It's one of the rare appearances of a salamander in any kind of filmed media.

The opening credits begin with an underwater shot of a neotenic Ambystomatid salamander, then the camera raises up out of the water and we see the shore beyond. The credit sequence shows lots of other shots of wildlife, including a slow motion rattlesnake strike, with a nice raunchy country song by Jace Everett in the background. For me, the credits are one of the best parts of the show. The rest is all about vampires and humans coexisting and pairing up because vampires can drink True Blood instead of killing humans for their blood. There are also telepaths and shapeshifters and other supernatural creatures, most of whom are sexy young people which is certainly much of the show's appeal.
